This is a unique opportunity to join a hugely successful Architectural Design practice who is highly regarded for the quality of their work. Prominent in the local industry, the Directors are well established and recognised by their clients and territorial authorities for delivering quality documentation, every time. It’s their bottom line.

To support the necessary growth of the business and project pipeline, they wish to appoint an accomplished Architectural Designer / CAD Draughtsperson to lead their experienced draughting team working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Reporting to the Directors, the main function of your role will be managing the team and overall design process. Included among your many attributes, we are looking for a self-starter with exceptional people skills, your analytical eye for detail and practical drafting experience from start to finish.

Naturally, you must be highly experienced and knowledgeable in the Architectural Design process, there are a few must haves:
• Experience producing concept design through to working drawings using ArchiCAD software, includes consent and tendering processes.
• Proven residential experience – new, alterations, renovations. Light commercial experience – retail offices etc.
• Practical knowledge and understanding of relevant NZ Standards and Codes including NZS 3604, NZ Building Code

Relevant sector qualifications are an advantage and the salary package will reflect the calibre of person sought after for this important Hastings based role.
